It would be unfair if we don’t praise a bowler’s comeback openly who spent almost half of his career in the ban for what he might not had done deliberately, performing in domestic home trophies and leagues is another thing but the way he clean bowled two of the greatest Pakistani batsmen Misbah ul Haq and Shahid Afridi, reminds me of those golden eras when Pakistan’s fast bowling was at peak. I am not going to compare Mohammed Amir with Wasim Akram but it would be fine if I say at least the newer version of Sultan of Swing that Pakistan has got is somehow similar to the old legend.
He responded to many critics with his performance by playing for a team in Bangladesh Premier League (BPL). Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) is also looking forward for his international comeback as well as including him in the PSL Players Draft. I have no doubt that Mohammed Amir will inspire his fans once again by performing if board consider him including in the PSL that is going to happen February.
The return of Amir has not just put the smiles back on the faces of his fan club but also they can’t wait to see him bowling in international matches also in Pakistan Super League (PSLt20), but there are many questions yet to be answered whether he should be allowed to play again or he should be restricted to the domestic matches only.
Few weeks ago Ramiz Raja brand ambassador of Pakistan Super League (PSL) has given a statement against in the favor of Mohammed Amir playing in PSLt20 or Pakistan International Team.
For us Mohammed Amir has completed his harsh punishment of five years long ban, he kept himself fit and knew he is going to come back and play again if we don’t forgive him we will certainly lose another talent in fast bowling like many others as he served his time, he got the punishment for what he has done, He shouldn’t be punished anymore. Let Mohammed Amir play the Pakistan Super League (PSL).
